It has mono in the name, but then there are two versions of Windows compatible font: So that's for fonts that don't have the 'mono' suffix. Is the Meslo Windows Compatible, but non-mono version supposed to have normal looking glyphs? So I guess I'm just not sure what font I should be trying out. Also, when I try to select the font from a terminal, I don't know which one I'm using. So That means I can't install both of them at the same time. The thing is, when I open them with the Windows Font Viewer - they both have the same name: MesloLGM NF. I don't know which one I want to use, so I download and install both. So the second one is not monospaced, but is Windows compatible. One is named complete mono Windows compatible, and the other is complete Windows compatible. Then I see that there are two Windows compatible fonts. But DroidSansMono does have 'mono' in the suffix. I go to the Github page and download one and give it a shot.įirst of all, when you say "with the 'mono' suffix" - do you mean picking the font family?
